I was sitting today at college with my wonderful college gang having so much fun... remembering those sweet memories we shared & the good times & old songs...it drove me to go home & start searching my pc for those old songs that mean alot to me...& so i suddenly passed by this song "beautiful" by the fabulous "Christina Aguilera"...it just brought so much memories to me...this song...especially this one has a special place in my heart...it used to be for a quite long time my comfort song ( a comfort song is a song which u choose to listen everytime u feel down or depressed... )....
"beautiful"....this exact song used to make me cry & today i discovered that it still has the same effect on me but in a quite different way....almost all my life until about a year & a half ago i used to have almost no self confidence & no faith in my self...this song back then used to raise my spirit...cheer me up...& make me regain my faith in myself ...
i consider it until now one of the best lifting songs that have actually changed me in a wonderful way & effect my point of view toward alot of things....
back then when i used to listen to this song i used to feel totally depressed ...ashamed of myself for letting it down ...but today when i re-played this song...i felt extremely happy...it's no longer a comfort song to me...it's a song to remind me of how beautiful iam...how extremely different & unique...it remind me of how stuipd i was to waste all this time having no faith in myself...not appreciating the unique it...it remind me of how blessed iam...!
what i want to say by that is...every girl...young lady & woman should totally feel proud of who ever she is...should be extremely happy that she's her self not some body else...for me i know that i wouldnt have been who iam now except for this depression period that i've been through...it made me & has almost most of the credit for me being who iam...i discovered everything iam proud of now in this period...i discovered all my hobbies & talents...i discovered myself...i discovered who iam...that's why i feel blessed for living such depressing period...
now i understand that it's not about being beautiful in the eyes of the ppl around u..it's all about u believing that u're...
believe that u're the most beautiful lady on earth...act like u're the most beautiful lady on earth....see the unique u & appreciate her...then others will see u as beautiful as u see urself...they'll see it in ur smile...it will glow in ur eyes...everything will say what u believe in...it's all about how u see urself & appreciate it...
so if someone didnt like u the way u're..didnt appreciate who u're & love it the way it is...it doesnt mean that u're not good enough...well maybe it mean they're not good enough to be around u....
so remember who ever decided not to be around u for one reason or another...simply doesn't deserve ur company...
